Second hand blu rays at rock bottom prices

Postby tim on Sat Jul 18, 2009 3:07 pm

Hi all, Thought I would share I site I have been buying my Blu Rays off for next to nothing. The site is cex.co.uk it is a second hand website (a bit like cash converters) and I have been able to get Casino Royale deluxe edition for £8, Rambo for £6 and Close Encounters for £6. The best thing is that it has free postage on everything!! You will notice that some blu rays are oddly priced e.g. casino royale 1 disc is £8 but as stated the deluxe is the same price?? I also bought loads of Bond dvd's for a couple of quid each - CHECK IT OUT!!

no offence tim, but where have you been for the last 3 years lol.

cex.co.uk have been selling online for at least that long, ive been buying and selling dvds, blurays and games off them for so long now its unbelieavable.

and yeah they do sell cheap blurays - some are just £4 right now and in stock, Oceans Thirteen for one, i have it on HD-DVD thought so wont be double dipping.

i did just the other day get Saw V for £8 which i thought was good for a newish release and they have quite a few blurays for a fiver. They also have HD-DVDs for £2 and ive managed to get a load of them.

Only downside is the cash prices these days are poor at CEX because the items they sell are so cheap. I was in their Darlo store the other day and all sorts of people had loads of DVDs in their hands. But when its 50p for Little Britain Series 1 or £1 for POTC Dead Mans Chest, you cant blame them!

ive had some great deals from the online store, including 50p for some movie trilogies. also i got Heroes S1 and S2 Bluray boxset for £25 which i think is a super deal.

there was a CEX in brighton a while back but I never bothered looking... I used the local Gamestar... I'll be keeping an eye out for cheap TV sets though...
