New Year Competition Update
It seems that we have had a few gremlins in the system – due to server issues, the competition wasn’t working for most people. It now seems to be resolved, but because of the issues I have extended the closing date to the 3rd January.

New Year Competition
As regular visitors will be aware, earlier this month we ran an Advent Competition, with 5 Blu Rays as prizes over the first 15 days of December. Well, unfortunately, one of the prizes remains unclaimed, and I thought the fairest way to allocate the outstanding prize was to run a further one-off competition. This competition will run from tomorrow until the 2nd January at 23:59, and the prize will be the winner’s choice of Blu Ray (restrictions apply).

Prize 5 seems to be a difficult one – 2 separate winners have been contacted, and neither have responded. We’ll give winner 2 another day, and then choose a third winner. We’ll keep you posted!

Advent Competition Update
There seems to be some confusion about our annual advent competitions. Unfortunately, we are not running our advent competition this year – we were let down by our two main sponsors, Play.com and The Hut, who left it to the very last minute before deciding that they couldn’t offer us any prizes, and leaving it too late for us to source alternative sponsorship. This is despite us generating a huge amount of traffic for them over the course of the year, and supporting them in every way we possibly could. So, as you can imagine, we are very disappointed with this, as our advent competitions are a very important part of our December activity. So, instead, we will be running a series of self-funded competitions, starting tomorrow night, where the first competition will be INCEPTION on Blu Ray! More details to follow………………

World Cup Competition – England vs Slovenia 23rd June
On Wednesday June 23rd, England face Slovenia in a crunch world cup match. Predict the correct result AND the first goal scorer, and you could win a £10 Voucher to spend at THE HUT(terms and conditions apply)! If more than one person correctly predicts the result and goal scorer, the winner will be chosen at random from all correct entries. If NO ONE wins, the prize will roll over to England’s next match (if applicable) or to another prize draw.
World Cup Competition Update
Well, after all the excitement and speculation, England’s crunch game against Algeria ended up being a pretty drab affair. Poor performances all round, our team of “superstars” failed to impress. And in fact, they showed themselves to be out of touch with England fans if Wayne Rooney’s comments are anything to go by. Let’s hope that we get the win on Wednesday to secure our progress in the World Cup!
Anyway, we had thousands of entries for our competition, and you lot are an optimistic bunch – with predicitions as high as 15-0 to England! In the end, however, only FOUR people predicted that it would end 0-0. So, we now have to choose a winner at random from the matching entries. The winner will be posted on our Facebook page later today – choose the “like” button at the top of the page to become a fan!
