Most regular visitors to this site will know about the annual bargain-fest that is the Disney BOGOF, which always kicks off around Easter. The general format of the BOGOF is that most retailers push up the price of their Disney Blu Rays to around £17.99 immediately before the BOGOF, so in reality you are paying around £9 each for them. So not quite a “BOGOF” but still a significant saving on their normal prices. However, if you don’t want to wait another 2 weeks for the deals to start, Bee.com have reduced a number of Disney Blu Ray titles to just £8.99 – making it the equivalent of the BOGOF. Remember: MOST retailers push up the prices to around £17.99 – but that doesn’t mean ALL will. For example, Amazon (for a short period) kept their Blu Ray prices at pre-BOGOF prices for one day during the BOGOF deal, meaning some incredible savings, but that was probably a pricing error on their part.
