cheap trainspotting blu ray One of the iconic movies of the 90’s, Trainspotting looks at the Edinburgh drug scene, following Renton (Ewan McGregor) and his friends Spud, Sick Boy, Tommy and Begbie (Robert Carlyle) in their drug-taking exploits. A very dark movie with some humerous undertones, it’s not to everyones taste but is a remarkable movie nonetheless. Criticism has been levelled at the picture quality of the Blu ray – maybe due to the low-budget nature of the original release? Worth a punt if you don’t already own this on DVD, however if you already own the DVD then the Blu ray will not be significantly better than an upscaled DVD copy. Next best price is £9.26.
